Instinct

The gentle nudge of Nature's vocal guidance on our day to day activities. Yes the natural inclination that we find ourselves either responding to or choosing to ignore is a gift that we should tap into and hone for the better good of our living.

I find that when I am faced with an overwhelming task it is usually in my best interest to trust in the elements that speak to my soul whether or not it makes sense at first glance.

While it is true that acting upon your instincts can bring about risks; it is also true that the risks worth taking are risks that should be taken!

Circumstances remind me from time to time that logic can hinder one's objective. Logic sometimes bring about an overdose of caution. In that very moment I try best to clear my mind and listen to the voices within. I remind myself of the courage I once attained as a child. I find that spirit that held me once ago was a more honest and true spirit and so I lean to it as often as possible.

Raised By

Like many others I was raised by wolves
To make understanding of the misunderstood,
And bring to attention all that wasn’t found…
To find the center of the sky is as dense as solid ground.

Stray never too far away from the you kept inside of you...

Faith

Let the greatness within you shine.  Unite yourself with the dreams that speak to your soul. Openly embrace the aspirations beyond your comprehension.  Some say that having faith simply is to believe in the dreams of your soul. Needless to say, we all get accustomed to what we perceive as reality of the mind and allow the reality of our soul to lose strength from time to time. Sometimes our dream is too grand a thing for us to have the patience and faith to endure being without it for yet another single second. It is in that exact moment that we start to lose faith and too patience.  Often common sense and logic is placed aside and we forget how much work, serenity and persistence is required to make a masterpiece.

Whenever I lose sight of my dreams, whether be it by everyday distractions or lapse of motivation, I take a step out of my body and reanalyze myself.  Reconnect with one of your childhood dreams, but let it be something that inspired you beyond imagination.  Return to the passionate way of living that allowed nothing and no one to deter you from achieving happiness.  I suggest we put aside the conditions pressed upon us by common society and believe in the dreams we hold within.

Blue Marble

I gave up my very youth
For what I feel inside
A face of hide-n-seek
With nowhere to hide

No other way, win or lose
Greatness must abide
As judgment comes, I've no alibi
Never told a truth, never told a lie

I quote destiny
As something born inside
I'm the greatest this way
Galaxies can't hold my pride

And for those pessimistic
Will say at least he tried
A thought the size of a marble
He opened 27,750 sq km wide

Yes with a silent prayer
As his only guide
He did what he said he would
Another marble of heaven he holds inside

Trust in the angels that have protected you thus far. And keep faith that your dreams and goals are the castle in which your true essence reigns in its own purity.

Business

O’ the absence of rest. Business; the art of remaining busy, usually associated with one’s financial endeavors, is actually the act of not pausing until one feels that their assignment has been completed.  One must push on through with the task at heart and mind. One’s dream must keep them busy ever still. Often we are more discouraged when we have stopped rather than when we are losing.

It seems rather easy from time to time to get complacent. Some of us even set temporary fatigue as an updated plateau for progress.  We suppress the natural energy and enthusiasm that awakens with us each and every brand new day that falls at our feet.  Total energy in the things you do. Proverbs 6:10-11 A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a thief, and scarcity like an armed man.

Understanding of time management is highly important in such a lifestyle. Efficiency and results can be better executed with the proper use of time while one provides total energy in cette goal. For those of us who have only an hour a day to truly seek out the accomplishment of our goals, should make sure that hour gets our undivided attention. For those of us with only 30 minutes, we should put in twice the energy and effort while providing our undivided attention. Also while in the stages of planning, one must use their time effectively.
Putting in more and more for the ones and things that will bring us joy should be one of the definite goals in each and every one of our lives.

I Notice

I notice my future within my past,
Sharing the same scenes, the same cast,
Be it far from me to think I’ll last,
Make one with myself before the mass.
I will make my future what I want,
I’ve seen too much past to now get caught.
Taught through my curiosity,
I give birth to what we men can’t see.
Many ask of my future, what will I do then?
But the same ol’ past, outlive you and I again!

Make it so that your mind body and spirit are forever busy in high pursuit of all the things that will bring you joy and glory.

Network

It’s too easy to forget to build relationships, be them long lasting or fleeting.  We, this day in age, have created a comfort zone for ourselves through evasive patterns with one another. At times the problem is much worse, where technology and media are to blame.  Instead of enjoying life we succumb to being specialists. Specialists of course of the lives and shows on television or the next hot gadget which is adorned as fashion these days.  Keeping in mind that television was once mainly a source for content, often productive and/or informative and that gadgets main function was to make easier the day by day activities so that you could get more done in less time so that you could enjoy the remainder of the day living your life, we take notice that some of the greatest inventions have been misused horribly.  Not to take away from technology or the media as there are still many of us who use such avenues with great precision.

Networking life, ideas, experiences and so forth makes for a better life.  While in general, networking is a term most often associated with the commerce world, we all whom have networked before know that the true essence of networking is effective teamwork mixed with proper delegation, trust, respect and passion.
Networking should take hold in our daily lives, not only because it allows one to share the weight to be bared but because of the great sense of satisfaction that comes from proper unification.

But remember although we must entangle people into your life, dreams and desires; such cannot be done unless we too entangle our lives, dreams and desires of others.

Our Breath

I hear of life
And I hear of death
I hear of silence
And they all share one breath

I see my sisters
I see my brothers
I see our lungs
Breathing our sight into others

Simply I believe we must make network, work!

Courage

Keeping in mind that courage and bravery are not one in the same you will come to find that most of us can easily muster up courage if we so chose. Bravery, with no intent to diminish its importance, is simply following through an act whether or not you know the outcome or sacrifices that may be associated. Courage is full consciousness that you are in the presence of your adversities and/or obstacles yet retaining the reserve to analyze and seek dominance of such temporary circumstances.

Courage is a form of faith, I’d go as far as to say one of the greatest forms of faith as it is faith in one’s self.   Belief in one self, outside the parameters of conceit and vanity, helps remind us of the value we possess and will soon possess if we keep true to heart that which matters most to us.  Courage as this form of belief allows the person who practices it properly to find satisfaction and inspiration from within.

The question for most should not be, “why has courage failed me?” but instead “why have I lost faith in courage?”  It has become second nature to lose our grip on life as we get older. We lose many childhood traits in order to conform or adapt with the norms of society and peers.  One of the easiest traits to lay aside is indeed courage, simply because sometimes it requires us to go against past failures and at other times it places discomfort with those dear to our heart if they don’t fully comprehend our motives.  A truth that we must remind ourselves is that courage in its natural essence should not have a negative aura about it.  If ever your imagination is mischievous enough to create obstacles, courage will allow you to push through such obstacles.  Courage at times is simply a matter of putting your imagination into perspective and finding what is true and then realizing how little the truth will actually hurt you. And if by some misfortune the truth causes you harm, keep in mind it is only temporary harm.  Harm you can see, hold and control.  Soon you will notice that all these obstacles you have overcome brings you not only closer to your goal but the satisfaction and confidence that comes with building oneself from the inside out.

I believe we should make courage a natural part of our lifestyle.  But I can understand that it may not be a component of all personalities.  Yet we can still at least make small bounds of courage in our daily lives. Many create habits of drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes, riding bikes, jogging, watching a sitcom, etc. Why not become creatures of habit with courageous acts that will help benefit our lives and hopefully the lives of others.

My favorite source of daily courage is courtesy. I’m extremely shy and find that courteous deeds are courageous feats for me. I make a conscious effort to be courteous and/or express courtesy every day.  Sometimes it’s as simple as allowing a car to cross into my lane with no hassle, holding the door open for a passerby or offering my assistance to those who need it. Personally, I try to do this courageous deed within the first two hours of my active day and it in turn fuels my day with more ambition.  Everyone can find something that is a bit of a challenge that they can overcome in slow droves while helping their fellowman.
Take some time to invest in the courage you hold within and you will notice that the challenges you now face are quite humorous and frivolous in comparison with the courage you’ve held captive in storage.

Seeing The Light

This morning the Sun rose in a certain direction
And from this direction came a certain protection
Fortunate was I to catch the first light glow
It seems now I know all I need to know
All my worries cast away
For this light glows in every way
All flaws I used to hide
Now bring about a great sense of pride
For the stars I no longer reach
All types of lights seek me, one of each
Unto me darkness is of reminiscent
Brightness is all that is persistent
For I am protected from all harm
This light only comes in a depth that’s warm
So unto you I say, keep all darkness out of sight
Pray that one day you too will meet this light

Take this advice to heart; courage has the power to give each day its immortality, so muster up courage to live, love and think differently!
